A question about one of the Shaykh's books.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : ... .

The Shaykh : The reason—may Allah reward you—is that when I published this book, I was assigned to teach the subject of hadith at the Islamic University at the time of its initial establishment. Therefore, I was compelled to provide the takhrij (tracing of hadiths to their sources) via the nearest route; that is, I would take the hadith that was easy for me to handle without great effort or time to clarify its ruling. I recorded the ruling there in the shortest possible phrase. As for the hadith that required time and effort from me, I left it, because I was traveling. This is the reason. Then, after I found some time, I rectified these defects. The book is now fully traced from beginning to end, such that no hadith is missed except as Allah wills. It requires a new printing. However, the new printing today, given the circumstances in Beirut where we used to print, is not conducive to renewing the printing. And when the reason becomes clear, the wonder disappears.
