The new edition of the Shaykh’s book.

The Shaykh : The reason—may Allah reward you—is that when I published this book, I was assigned to teach the subject of hadith at the Islamic University at the time of its initial establishment. Consequently, I was compelled to provide the takhrij (tracing of hadiths to their sources) via the most accessible route. That is, for the hadiths where I could easily determine the ruling without significant effort or time, I recorded the ruling there in the briefest possible phrase. As for the hadiths that required time and effort on my part, I left them, as I was traveling. This is the reason. Then, after I found some time, I rectified these defects. The book is now fully traced from beginning to end, such that no hadith is overlooked unless Allah wills. Therefore, it requires a new printing. However, the current circumstances in Beirut, where we used to print, do not facilitate a new printing. And when the reason becomes clear, the wonder disappears.
