The Loss of Islamic Identity in Islamic Society!

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : One of the deviations is that the Islamic identity has been lost in Islamic society today; none of us can pass by a Muslim we do not know and greet him for fear that he is not a Muslim, especially since some styles of dress that are from the rituals of the disbelievers have become widespread. Often we find a Muslim walking in the alleys of Muslims who, for example, is wearing a beret, so he places the covering on his head to judge himself that he is not among the Muslims. As for the other masses of Muslims who did not preserve the Islamic identity in its appearance, speak of them and there is no blame.
I tell you frankly: about thirty years ago, we would enter the mosque and not find a worshipper with his head uncovered, but today it is the opposite; we enter a mosque and hardly find a worshipper with his head covered. Do you think this change came because the Muslims advanced in knowledge of Islam, understanding, and practice, or is the matter the complete opposite? I say, and I say it frankly, because I know that few among the scholars of knowledge state this truth explicitly, which the Muslim youth, in particular, must hear and know.
