The Shaykh : Here arises a doubt that we have often heard; it is that there is a hadith narrated by al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, Ahmad, and many of the imams of the Sunnah from the hadith of Abu Sa'id al-Khudri, some of them, and others from Anas ibn Malik, such as al-Tabarani in his "Small Mu'jam," that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed the midday or afternoon prayer one day, so a man entered wanting to pray, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said to those around him:
Is there any man who may do good with this ألا رجل يتصدَّق على هذا ؟!
