Why did he push the person walking in front of the one praying, when he had already fulfilled the obligation of placing a barrier in front of him, so that this passerby does not harm him?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The questioner asks why he pushed the person walking in front of the one praying, when he had already fulfilled the obligation of placing a barrier in front of him, so that this passerby does not harm him. We say that this question is incorrect, because a Muslim should not say, "Why did Allah say such and such?" or "Why did the Messenger of Allah say such and such?" because this contradicts the stance that every Muslim must adopt before the Book of Allah and the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah. We all know, and especially the questioner, that Allah the Mighty and Majestic said:
But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission. فلا وربك لا يؤمنون حتى يحكموك فيما شجر بينهم ثم لا يجدوا في أنفسهم حرجا مما قضيت ويسلموا تسليما
[An-Nisa 4:65]
So the question is "Why?" And I will tell you simply: because the Messenger said so. What is the meaning of the question? Perhaps the meaning of the question—and here is the correction of the question—is "What is the wisdom?" What is the wisdom is one thing, and why the person walking in front of the one praying is pushed is another. Because the answer to the question "Why is he pushed?" is: The Messenger said, "If a person passes in front of one of you, let him push him. If he refuses, let him fight him, for he is a devil." This is the answer. And I believe the questioner knows this. So he is asking about the wisdom, I suppose. If the question is about the wisdom, then I say simply and frankly: In matters of worship, we do not strain ourselves to ask about the wisdom of their legislation. If a wisdom appears to us, we state it simply and without any strain. Otherwise, we do not delve deep, because delving deep, in my belief and in my long experience in calling people to act according to the Book and the Sunnah, leads those accustomed to such questions to have their religious restraint weakened.
and they greet with a greeting ويسلموا تسليما
Because he becomes accustomed to knowing the wisdom of every command. If he does not know the wisdom, he remains questioning, or rather, he remains doubtful: "What is this? What is the secret? What is the purpose?" My brother,
and they greet with a greeting ويسلموا تسليما
and that is enough. If you have knowledge, no one can present a wisdom to you, so there is no harm in that. But the original principle is submission.
