What is the ruling on killing a child with a congenital deformity?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Sometimes a child is born deformed, with two heads, or an extra leg, or six legs. The custom in Western hospitals is that when a child is born in this condition, they kill it. Is this permissible in the Shari'ah?

The Shaykh : It is not permissible; it is forbidden. Our Lord does not create anything in vain. Allah wants to show His servants that He is effective in what He wills and that He chooses what He wills, as the Mighty and Majestic said:
And your Lord creates what He wills and chooses; not for them was the choice. Exalted is Allah and high above what they associate with Him.
[Al-Qasas 28:68]
. It is not permissible to kill this soul that Allah has created and brought into being, because this type of creation does not please some of the creation, and that is the affair of the disbelievers, so it is not permissible.
