What is the ruling on aborting a fetus on the grounds that if it were born, it would be born deformed?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : A woman went to "Qasr Shubayb Hospital" and had an abortion; the doctors aborted a fetus that was four months old, on the grounds that the woman had German measles; so the doctors told her: "If we had not aborted it, it would have been born deformed, or even mentally disabled." So what is your opinion? May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : We are often asked about such cases, and we do not see any response to these doctors; for their unspoken words say:
We assume only assumption, and we are not convinced.' " إِنْ نَظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ
[Al-Jathiyah 45:32]
. We have been informed by more than one source that some women were told this by some doctors, but they did not agree to the abortion or termination, and they gave birth naturally. This confirms that they are merely guessing.
Then the whole matter is in the hand of Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He); for He has the command and all creation; so it is not befitting for some doctors to participate in such matters whose realities are hidden from all people, and they may sometimes look into some matters that are hidden from other people; so it is not permissible for us to look at the unknown future for all people, and no one knows the unseen except Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He). So the fact that a woman may give birth to a deformed fetus or something similar to what is said today: that it is disabled or the like; we, as Muslims who believe in Allah (Mighty and Majestic), and that He is Wise and All-Knowing, see the variation in His creation; this variation that we see among humans in general, whether in skin color, or in height and shortness, or in male and female, or in health and soundness, or in ailments and illness and the like; all of this is the decree of the Mighty and All-Knowing; meaning our Lord (Mighty and Majestic) wants to show His servants what is good in their eyes and what is ugly, but all of that is good in the sight of Allah (Mighty and Majestic); so our view of the creation of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) is not like the view of the Creator Himself (Blessed and Exalted is He); for He is
There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing. لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ
[Ash-Shuraa 42:11]
.
On this occasion, I must mention a hadith that I consider very wonderful regarding this topic, and the answer to this question...
