Rajbiyyah (Slaughter in Rajab): Is there evidence for it, or has it been abrogated?

Al-Halabi : The Rajbiyyah, is it established that it has been abrogated?

The Shaykh : By Allah, it is as if I remember that in one of my books I stated that there is no abrogating text. Yes, that is correct. The abrogation is the belief in drawing near to Allah specifically through slaughter in this month. As for mere slaughter in this month, there is nothing preventing it.
Al-Halabi : Well, if that is the case, is this considered obligatory? Because in the hadith: ?

The Shaykh : Yes, I do not have an answer to this at the moment.

The Shaykh : Does this hadith mention the 'Id sacrifice along with the Rajbiyyah?
Al-Halabi : By Allah, I do not remember now.
