Is it permissible to enter into a partnership with a man in a business if this man does not pay the zakah on his wealth and his wealth contains riba?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Yes, what is the position of the Shari'ah regarding partnering with a man whom I know, for example, has money that is not purified by zakah, and perhaps he deals in riba? But, for example, he wants to partner with me in a specific business. If we take the amount he has and the zakah on it, at least the amount I have, for example, is ten thousand dinars, is it permissible to partner with him?

The Shaykh : There is a difference between his wealth being wealth from riba, and his wealth being earned through lawful means but he does not pay its zakah. In this second case, as long as you ensure that he pays the zakah, from the time of the partnership onward, there is no obstacle. As for the first case, if his earnings are from haram wealth, such as riba, we do not see it as permissible to partner with such a person or to mix lawful wealth with haram wealth. This is my opinion.
