The questioner : He saysThe questioner : I arrived in Jeddah, passing the miqat without entering ihram, due to reasons beyond my control, while intending to perform Hajj. I stayed in Jeddah for more than five days. What should I do?

The Shaykh : He should return to the miqat and enter ihram from there.

The questioner : Is it permissible for a military man, if he intends to perform Hajj, to enter ihram in his military uniform while in Makkah, or not? And does he have to pay a fidyah if he does not wear the ihram garments, or is it not permissible for him to perform Hajj while in his uniform?

The Shaykh : His Hajj is valid, but if he did so by choice, he has committed a sin; otherwise, he has not committed a sin.

The questioner : And yes.
