What should one do if he prayed with the intention of Fajr with people who were praying the eclipse prayer, and he did not know, and the imam had finished the first bowing in the first rak'ah?

The Shaykh : He should continue with the imam until he realizes that it is the eclipse prayer. Once he realizes that it is the eclipse prayer, he must separate from the imam and complete the prayer alone. At that point, he continues with him in the first rak'ah. When the imam stands up for the second rak'ah and performs the first bowing, then stands up and recites, at that point we know that this is the eclipse prayer. So he should intend to separate from him and complete his prayer. Yes.

The questioner : What if he joined him in the second rak'ah during the tashahhud?

The Shaykh : There is no problem with that.

The questioner : There is no problem with that.

The Shaykh : The problem is if he joined him in a state where the prayer differs.
