Is there evidence prohibiting cracking one's fingers during or after the prayer?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Raise your voice.

The questioner : Cracking one's fingers during the prayer

The Shaykh : Ah

The questioner : Or after finishing the prayer, is there a prohibition or evidence prohibiting it?

The Shaykh : Cracking one's fingers during the prayer is idle behavior that is not befitting the prayer. In my opinion, there is a hadith, but I do not recall it now, though it is not authentic. As for after the prayer, there is no prohibition, neither after the prayer nor before it. As for during the prayer, the ruling is as you have heard.
Al-Halabi : Our Shaykh, in ... in *Al-Irwaa'* by Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him), it is stated that he said to one who saw him cracking his fingers in prayer, "May your mother be bereaved of you! Do you crack your fingers in prayer?" and he prohibited him from doing so.

The Shaykh : Good.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Have you finished your question? Is there nothing left on your mind?

The questioner : No
