Al-Albani’s call for Salafi youth to adopt gentleness in da'wah and avoid harshness, especially with those who disagree with them.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : And as I said in a previous session, and I repeat it again, for there is benefit in repetition, we must be gentle in our invitation of those who disagree with us to the truth. We must always and forever be in accordance with the saying of Allah, Blessed and Exalted is He:
Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best
[An-Nahl 16:125]
And the one most deserving of our use of this wisdom, or of our dealing with him with it, is the one who is most hostile to us in our principles and our creed. This is so that we do not combine the weight of the call to the truth, by which Allah, Mighty and Majestic, has favored us, with the weight of a bad manner in calling to Allah, Mighty and Majestic.
So I hope that all our brothers in every land of Islam will conduct themselves with these Islamic etiquettes, and then seek thereby the Face of Allah, Mighty and Majestic, wanting no reward and no gratitude. Perhaps this much is sufficient, and praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
