Do we pray between the two prayers (Zuhr and 'Asr) and (Maghrib and 'Isha') when combining them for a valid excuse?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : Regarding combining prayers, it is known that combining is frequent in the cold; they combine Maghrib and 'Isha', and Zuhr and 'Asr. Some of the scholars say it is not permissible to pray the regular voluntary prayers (rawatib). He said: What is established from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) is that he would offer voluntary prayers between the two prayers after the obligatory prayer?

The Shaykh : Between the two prayers, there are no regular voluntary prayers (sunnah). As for after the second prayer, such as 'Asr or 'Isha', there is no evidence preventing one from performing them. This is because combining is what prevents the prayer between the two prayers. If one prays the voluntary prayer between the two prayers, the true combining of the prayers does not occur. So, if the combining of Zuhr and 'Asr, for example, is finished, and a person wants to pray two rak'ahs after 'Asr, as is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), or if the prayer of Maghrib and 'Isha is finished by combining them, and after 'Isha he can pray the voluntary prayer, just as he can pray the witr.

The questioner : The voluntary prayer of Maghrib or the voluntary prayer of 'Isha, which one does he pray?

The Shaykh : We said the voluntary prayer after 'Isha.

The questioner : Meaning, the voluntary prayer of Maghrib is dropped for him?

The Shaykh : I said, O Abu Ahmad, may Allah guide you and me. Between the two obligatory prayers, the voluntary prayers are dropped. Because if he prays the voluntary prayer between the two obligatory prayers, it means he has separated the two prayers and not combined them. But if the second prayer is finished, I said like 'Asr, and I said like 'Isha, and he wants to pray two rak'ahs after 'Asr, as is established from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then he has that right. Just as he has the right to pray two rak'ahs after 'Isha and to pray the witr after that. It is not said here, "How does he pray the witr when the time of 'Isha has not entered?" We said this is a strange question, because the witr is a voluntary prayer (sunnah). If the Wise Lawgiver has permitted, for a prescribed excuse, to bring forward the prayer of 'Isha, which is obligatory, to the time of Maghrib, then it is even more permissible to bring forward the voluntary prayer of 'Isha and the voluntary prayer of witr to the time of Maghrib. So he has the right to pray them after the obligatory prayer of 'Isha which was prayed at the time of Maghrib.

The questioner : May Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : Meaning, Zuhr has a voluntary prayer before it and a voluntary prayer after it. The two rak'ahs that follow Zuhr, the voluntary prayer after it, meaning does he pray them after 'Asr?

The Shaykh : This question is not relevant.

Another questioner : I understood it this way from the question of the brother Abu Ahmad.

The Shaykh : We said that if he wishes, he can pray two rak'ahs after 'Asr, because the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs after 'Asr.
