When combining Maghrib and 'Isha' prayers in winter, when do we pray the Sunnah of Maghrib and the Sunnah of 'Isha'?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the winter season, we combine the Maghrib prayer with the 'Isha' prayer. When do we pray the Sunnah of Maghrib and when do we pray the Sunnah of 'Isha'? Please inform us. May Allah reward you with good.

The Shaykh : In this case, the Sunnah of Maghrib is not prayed. The Sunnah of 'Isha' remains on its original basis; a person prays it in the mosque and prays it at home, and that is better. However, this post-prayer Sunnah of the 'Isha' prayer is not dropped by combining it with the Maghrib prayer. As for the Sunnah between it and the Maghrib prayer, it is dropped, because it is not reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), whether in residence or on travel, when he combined the prayers, used to pray anything of the Sunnahs between the two prayers. Yes.

The questioner : Okay, Professor, some of the brothers raise the question: Is the Sunnah of 'Isha' prayed after the 'Isha' prayer, or does one wait for the original time to enter?

The Shaykh : No, as I said, if he wishes, he prays it after the 'Isha' prayer, and if he wishes, he prays it at home. Because as long as the Wise Lawgiver has granted a dispensation to bring forward the obligatory prayer before its time, it is even more so that He grants a dispensation for the voluntary prayer that follows it.
