The Shaykh : However, I want to draw your attention to something very important regarding my previous topic, which is the obligation for Muslims to adhere to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in everything related to Islam. After you have understood that the term "Sunnah" in the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) does not carry the technical jurisprudential meaning of "what is not obligatory," you have come to know that the Sunnah is Islam in what he (peace be upon him) practiced, both in its ultimate goal and its method.
