The Hadith of the Strangers, and People Are Three, Most of Them Are Disobedient to Allah

The Shaykh : Because Islam today, as he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Sunan Ibn Majah 3987Hasan (Darussalam) A question was brought to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his companions), and it was said to him: Who are these strangers, O Messenger of Allah? He answered, .
The Shaykh : This is a description, and it is observed today. Those who disobey Allah, unfortunately, are more numerous than those who obey Allah. And those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, or as the Exalted said, "and those who call to good and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong," are few among the righteous. So there are three categories among us. Most people today are disobedient; they do not obey Allah. Those who obey Allah are of two types: a type that is knowledgeable and a type that is not. This knowledgeable type is the smallest. Why? Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: _ meaning when they call them _ The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him and his companions) was asked again about the strangers: who are they? And this is much more precise than the first description. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Mishkat al-Masabih 170Isnād Da'īf Jiddan (Zubair `Aliza'i) Here I must pause, as we paused with you regarding his (peace and blessings be upon him and his companions) saying: Sahih Muslim 1401 What is the Sunnah? Does the Sunnah mean something less than the obligatory and the required? No, it is my way, my methodology, and the Shari'ah of Allah that I came with.
The Shaykh : Here too, the Sunnah must be interpreted in this sense. So he (peace be upon him) said: meaning from my way that I brought to you. What is the greatest Sunnah? It is the testimony that there is no god but Allah. Because the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), as I mentioned earlier from the hadith of Mu'adh, Those who go out today in some countries do not need to be called to the testimony that there is no god but Allah, because they are with them testifying that there is no god but Allah. But they need, as we did at the beginning of this session, to be reminded of the meaning of this good word. What is the meaning of "There is no god but Allah"? I say, unfortunately, that most Muslims today do not know the reality of this testimony in thought and knowledge, and consequently they contradict it in application and action. For example, who among you does not know that there are graves of some awliya (close friends of Allah) and righteous people to whom they direct supplication other than to Allah (Mighty and Majestic)? Who among you does not know that there are mosques built over the graves of awliya and righteous people, where these graves are directed to other than Allah (Mighty and Majestic) for seeking healing, especially by women of little intellect and religion? Who among you does not know these very unfortunate facts? And who among you does not know that this contradicts the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic): [Al-Jinn 72:18] All of this contradicts the meaning of "There is no god but Allah," because as we said at the beginning of this speech, "There is no god but Allah."
The questioner : ... half an hour of your time, like this, the work conditions allow it
Another questioner : ... the adhan, meaning.
Another questioner : Do we pray, or the mosque?
The Shaykh : No, we must go down to the mosque.
The Shaykh : And who among you does not know that this contradicts the saying of Allah (Mighty and Majestic):[Al-Jinn 72:18] All of this contradicts the meaning of "There is no god but Allah," because as we said at the beginning of this speech, "There is no god but Allah" means that there is no worshipped entity with truth in the existence, in the entire universe, except Allah (Blessed and Exalted is He).
The Shaykh : So if the callers spread in some countries or in some villages where there is no reminder or teacher, they must begin by explaining Islam from its easiest and its first origin, which is the testimony that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. This is a summarized study, although it is the foundation of Islam and the foundation of the religion. And many Muslims are absent in jurisprudence and application from this good testimony, one of whose very great effects is that whoever dies while testifying that there is no god but Allah sincerely from his heart, Allah makes his body forbidden to the Fire. This sincerity, when he says this good testimony from his heart, cannot be so unless he understands this testimony: what is its meaning and what are its implications.
Islam began as something strange and will go back to being strange, so glad tidings to the strangers.
They are a few righteous people among people, of whom more disobey them than obey them
The Shaykh : This is a description, and it is observed today.
أكثر ممن يطيعهمthey will set right the corruptions caused in my sunna by people after my death
And he who turns away from my Sunnah, he has no relation with Me
The Shaykh : Here too, the Sunnah must be interpreted in this sense. So he (peace be upon him) said:
They are those who revive what people have corrupted of my Sunnah after me
Let the first thing you call them to be the testimony that there is no god but Allah
And [He revealed] that the masjids are for Allah, so do not invoke with Allah anyone.
The questioner : ... half an hour of your time, like this, the work conditions allow it
Another questioner : ... the adhan, meaning.
Another questioner : Do we pray, or the mosque?
The Shaykh : No, we must go down to the mosque.
