What is the ruling on the inheritance of distant relatives?

The questioner : What is the ruling on the inheritance of distant relatives if there are no heirs, and regarding the jurists’ placing them in the position of the heirs who are missing, and applying the rules of exclusion and residuary inheritance among them, or returning the wealth to the Bayt al-Mal (the Muslim treasury) if there are no heirs?
