The questioner: But what is preferred if we enter the mosque, in which area of the mosque do we stand, on the right or the left, or is any place fine?

The Shaykh: Because first, we have the principle of "the recommendation of the right," and second: if there is a person praying and one man comes, does he stand to his right or to his left?

The Shaykh: To his right. Why to his right? First: regarding this case, which is following this individual, there is a text on it. Second: the principle I mentioned to you. Third: if we do not follow the right as a principle, it will lead to disorder in the arrangement of the rows. So there is no need for us to nullify the right side for what? Because this hadith is weak and not authentic? Because the general principles, and this specific hadith I mentioned to you, are sufficient to establish the virtue of the right, or starting with the right. Is that clear?
