Is it authentic that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not wish to teach A'ishah the Greatest Name?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : All right, the one after that; there is a book—of course—well known that people circulate; I mean, it is not good, they say; it is the book: "The Answered Supplication." He asked me, saying to me: There is a hadith that one of them read to me; he said that the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) did not wish to teach A'ishah the Greatest Name; is this thing authentic from him?

The Shaykh : It is not authentic.

The questioner : It is not authentic.

The Shaykh : And you will find this hadith in the same place I referred you to in Fath al-Bari.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : And it says: Its chain of narration is weak.

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : But you did not advise this man who told you about the hadith, and read it in: "The Answered Supplication"?

The questioner : Yes, I advised him to stay away from it, and to replace it with the book: "The Good Word."

The Shaykh : You advised him?

The questioner : Yes.

The Shaykh : Okay, may Allah reward you with good.

The questioner : All of you, and yourselves.

The Shaykh : The third question has been answered.
