The Shaykh Al-Albani’s speech on the virtue of Sham and the people of Sham.
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : As you have understood from the previous speech, these places or these small states that exist now are all Sham. This Sham is the center of the activity of the Islamic da'wah in every age, if Allah wills, Blessed and Exalted is He. And as part of that hadith mentioned also in some of the speeches, this hadith supports the hadith of Mu'adh. As part of that hadith mentioned just now, namely his saying (peace and blessings be upon him): Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2192Sahih (Darussalam) The completion of this hadith is Sahih Muslim 1920 to the end of the hadith. In it is an indication of the meaning that came in the hadith of al-Bukhari, in which Mu'awiyah referred to Mu'adh ibn Jabal when he said, and this Mu'adh says: "They are in Sham." The other hadith Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2192Sahih (Darussalam) Mishkat al-Masabih 5406 has a strong indication of the meaning mentioned by Mu'adh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him). This is the first matter that I saw fit to mention on this occasion.
The other matter: you heard a rich discussion on the virtue of Sham and the people of Sham.
When the inhabitants of Ash-Sham become corrupt, then there is no good in it for you.
إذا فسد أهل الشام فلا خير فيكمA group of people from my Umma will always remain triumphant on the right path
ولا تزال طائفة من أمتي ظاهرين على الحق ...When the inhabitants of Ash-Sham become corrupt, then there is no good in it for you.
إذا فسد أهل الشام فلا خير فيكمbut a section of my people will continue to hold to the truth till God's command comes and will prevail and will not be injured by those who oppose them.
ولا تزال طائفة من أمتي ظاهرين للحق لا يضرهم من خالفهم حتى يأتي أمر اللهThe other matter: you heard a rich discussion on the virtue of Sham and the people of Sham.
