The Shaykh : Praise is to Allah; we praise Him, seek His help, and seek His forgiveness, and we seek refuge in Allah from the evils of our souls and the badness of our deeds. Whom Allah guides, none can misguide, and whom He leaves to misguide, none can guide. And I bear witness that there is no god but Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and His Messenger. As for what follows, before we proceed to listen to some questions, and drawing attention to what I mentioned at the beginning of this session regarding the selection of important, non-repetitive questions, and in light of the kind words we heard from our brother speakers before this, I wish to mention a hadith and a sound athar, each of which is related to some of the kind words you just heard. As for the hadith, it is what the Imam al-Bukhari narrated in his Sahih, in the Book of Knowledge, at the beginning of his Sahih, from the hadith of Mu'awiyah ibn Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with them both), who said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: . This hadith was mentioned previously in some of the words referred to just now, and that is not my intention with this hadith; rather, it is the addition in it, where Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him), after narrating this hadith from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) by hearing it from him (peace and blessings be upon him), after he narrated this hadith to those who were preaching to them, said to them: "And this is Mu'adh ibn Jabal." Here is the point: this is Mu'adh ibn Jabal, saying that they are in al-Sham, and they are in al-Sham, meaning the victorious group, whose home is always and forever, or at least in most times, in al-Sham. And Professor Abu Malik (may Allah reward him with good) mentioned a matter that the masses of Muslims have long been negligent of, due to the geographical divisions implemented by the colonizers in the lands of Islam, and especially the lands of al-Sham, where they made them Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, and Palestine, whereas you have learned from the previous speech that these places, or these small states currently existing, are all al-Sham. This al-Sham is the center of the activity of the Islamic da'wah in every time, if Allah wills (Blessed and Exalted is He). And from the completion of that hadith, which was also mentioned in some of the words, and this hadith supports the hadith of Mu'adh, from the completion of that hadith mentioned just now, is his (peace be upon him) saying: Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2192Sahih (Darussalam).
A group from my Ummah will remain manifest upon the truth, and those who oppose them will not harm them, until the Hour comes.
لا تزال طائفة من أمة ظاهرين على الحق لا يضرهم من خالفهم حتى تقوم الساعةWhen the inhabitants of Ash-Sham become corrupt, then there is no good in it for you.
إذا فسد أهل الشام فلا خير فيكم
