Clarification that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has status with Allah the Exalted.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : If someone were to ask: Do you deny that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) has status with Allah? What would you say? Does the Messenger have status with Allah? Yes, without a doubt. Allah said regarding Moses:
And he, in the sight of Allah, was distinguished. وكان عند الله وجيهاً
[Al-Ahzab 33:69]
And He said regarding Jesus:
distinguished in this world and the Hereafter وجيهاً في الدنيا والآخرة
[Ali 'Imran 3:45]
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) is the best of the messengers, so he is honored with Allah, Mighty and Majestic. But his status does not imply, nor does it necessitate, that he is a partner with Allah, Mighty and Majestic. Allah alone is the one in whose hand is the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and He is the one who granted these people this honor and status. They did not possess it by their own hands, strength, power, or skill, but by the grace of Allah. For this reason, Allah the Exalted said regarding Solomon:
And We had certainly given to David and Solomon knowledge ولقد آتينا داوود وسليمان علماً
[An-Naml 27:15]
"We granted." Did you see where the granting came from? From Allah. And He said:
Praise [is due] to Allah, who has favored us over many of His believing servants." الحمد لله الذي فضلنا على كثير من عباده المؤمنين
[An-Naml 27:15]
So he acknowledged the grace of Allah. Thus, the status of the messengers (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon them) is from Allah, and it does not imply, nor does it necessitate, that they have partners in what is specific to Allah, Mighty and Majestic. And who is it that removes harm? Allah alone, even the messengers cannot do that. Did you not know that Muhammad, the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's prayers and peace be upon him), had a gash in his face? The worst of Allah's servants, the disbelievers, broke his front tooth. Yes, he stumbled in a pit until he fainted, or nearly fainted. Did this not happen? So the messengers are like others in these matters; they are human beings who do not possess the ability to bring benefit or harm to themselves or to others. And those below the messengers are likewise, indeed they are even further from possessing the ability to bring benefit or harm to anyone.
