Patience regarding the disobedience of Allah.

The Shaykh : Patience regarding sin: Sins are numerous, and they are either for the desire of the private parts, or for the desire of authority, or for the desire of wealth, or for the desire of fame. Desires are of many kinds; you will find some people inclined toward wealth, some inclined toward fame, some inclined toward fame, and some inclined toward women. Desires and inclinations vary in sins, but one must have patience regarding the disobedience of Allah. Restrain yourself; if your soul incites you to commit a sin, restrain it and strive against it until you complete [your patience].
