Ninth: What he achieved in preserving the language of the Arabs.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Among his blessings, he says, is that he preserved the language of the Arabs, meaning the Arabic language. The Noble Qur'an is undoubtedly the most eloquent of Arabic speech, and it will remain until the Day of Resurrection because Allah has guaranteed its preservation. Therefore, its preservation necessitates the preservation of the Arabic language. For this reason, we Muslims and Arabs must take pride in our language, which is Arabic, and we must oppose anyone who attempts to deprive the Arab nation of its language, which is the language of the Qur'an and the Hadith. It is astonishing that some foolish people, dazzled by the material progress of the West, want to erase the Arabic language from Islam and the Arabs. It is regrettable that we find here in our country signs on some restaurants and signs on some shops, and sometimes signs directing people on the roads, in pure English without any Arabic. This indicates the weakness of the personality of the one who placed these signs, as well as his foolishness and his lack of concern for his Arabic language, which is the language of the Qur'an and the Hadith. It is obligatory to pursue these people and prevent them from writing signs in a language other than Arabic unless it is accompanied by writing in Arabic. We do not say that one should not write in a foreign language at all; no, because people have mixed with us, and many of them know only the Latin letters. But we say that it is absolutely not permissible to allow people to write signs on their shops and restaurants in a language other than Arabic without it being accompanied by Arabic. It is also regrettable that a patient is given a prescription for the medicine he wants to use in any language, perhaps in English, which he may not know, and not even in Arabic, but in English. Glory be to Allah! The society is an Arab Islamic society, and yet he is given a prescription in English. Perhaps he writes the number two, and he thinks it is the number four or five, and then he eats five pills at once and perishes. Yes, as is mentioned, a Bedouin was given pills by a doctor to use one every six hours. The Bedouin said, "If these six pills, or five, are to be eaten after six hours, then it would be better to eat them all at once to be better off immediately." So he ate them all at once, and it killed him. I say that this is also a trial: that medical prescriptions are written for Arab people in English. Glory be to Allah! Why are they not written in Arabic? We take pride in our language and serve our people by making things easy for them. Because if this person who does not know English forgets what the doctor told him, and if the people of the house do not know English, can they guide him to what the doctor said? Yes? No. Then he goes to the neighbors, and to the neighbors of the neighbors, and if he does not find it with them, he goes to the faculties in the universities until they explain to him the meaning of this medical prescription. So among the blessings of this Qur'an is what the brother mentioned, which is the preservation of the Arabic language, which is the tongue of the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him). And among the blessings of this Qur'an
I make a share for me
