The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "and the traveler"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Now, regarding
and the travelerوابن السبيل
the travelers, the scholars said that they are those whose journey is cut off, so they find nothing to take them to their homeland. These people are given from the zakah what will take them to their homeland, even if they are wealthy in their homeland. For example, if a merchant’s journey is cut off and he has nothing left to take him to his homeland, we give him what will take him to his homeland, even if he is wealthy in his homeland, because he has now become poor. Why is he called "the son of the road"? The scholars said that it is because the road is constantly with him, so it became like a son who is constantly with his father.
