Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : He says:The questioner : How many days may a traveler combine prayers if he travels from the city where he resides to another city where he has a house but does not reside?

The Shaykh : But what is it? He does not reside.

The questioner : He does not reside.

The Shaykh : A traveler is considered a traveler from the time he leaves his city until he returns to it. However, if he stops in a city where the congregational prayer is held, it is obligatory for him to attend the congregation. And if he attends the congregation and the imam completes the prayer, he must complete his prayer following his imam.
As for if he misses the prayer, or if he is in a place with no mosques, or if he stops in a part of the desert, he shortens the prayer. As for combining, it is better not to combine, and if he combines, there is no harm. Yes.
