The Shaykh : Yes, wudu is required of him. This situation, or rather this state, occurs frequently when the stomach is full of food, especially if most of it is water. When a person burps, this odor carries some of the food until it exits to the mouth, but it is not vomiting. Some people then swallow it. If they swallow it, and it is of the things that invalidate wudu, such as camel meat, then his wudu is invalidated.
