A word from the Shaykh on the virtue of gatherings for the remembrance of Allah.

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows, this is the third meeting in the month of Ramadan, 1414, and it is on the night of Wednesday, the thirteenth of this month. There is no doubt that these meetings have many benefits, both for the speaker and for the listener, even if nothing else, they are gatherings for the remembrance of Allah and are attended by the angels, for those who gather in them. Indeed, Allah the Exalted has angels who move about the earth seeking out circles of dhikr. So we ask Allah the Exalted to make our circle a circle of dhikr in accordance with His pleasure, for He is capable of all things. My brother, the Shaykh, Mahmoud ibn 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Sayyigh, suggested that I speak on Surat Subhan. This is a good suggestion, but I had been thinking to speak on two verses that we recited in our reading tonight, and to postpone the answer to his suggestion so that it will include Subhan and and [Al-Ikhlas 112:1] which are recited in the witr.
