(Clarifying that those who belittle the Messenger of Allah are the deniers of the divine attributes) They said, "You have belittled the Messenger of Allah, woe *** How strange is this tyranny and slander! They excluded him from ever being cited as proof by his saying ***"

The Shaykh : He says:
"They said, 'You have belittled the Messenger of Allah, woe *** How strange is this tyranny and slander'"
Truly, this is astonishing: that the people of the Sunnah and the community, who follow the two revelations, the Book and the Sunnah, are the ones about whom it is said that they belittled the Messenger.
"They excluded him from ever being cited as proof by his saying *** in knowledge of Allah, the One of the great status"
Who excluded him? The deniers of the divine attributes excluded him from being cited as proof. They excluded the Messenger from being cited by his saying in knowledge of Allah, the One of the great status, because they do not cite the hadiths of the attributes. If they came through mass transmission and they had no choice but to refute them, they distorted them. And if they came through a single narrator, they said, "This is a matter of creed and is not established by a report from a single narrator." Thus, they tore apart the Sunnah in this manner.
