The Meaning of the Poet's Saying: "And if you are well-mannered, you say 'ambiguous' *** Are you clear, O people, in the opinion of so-and-so? And by Allah, if it were in agreement, it would not be *** ambiguous, interpreted with the tongue"

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"And if you are well-mannered" means if you are well-mannered and wish to speak with eloquence, you do not say this is ambiguous; you say this is obscure.
"And if you are well-mannered, you say 'ambiguous' *** Are you clear, O people, in the opinion of so-and-so?"
The obscure is the Qur'an and the Sunnah when they contradict the opinions of men, and the clear is the opinions of men. This is if they are well-mannered and say it is obscure. But if they are not well-mannered, they say this is ambiguous, interpreting it and distorting it.
"And by Allah, if it were in agreement, it would not be *** ambiguous, interpreted with the tongue"
It means, by Allah, if the text were in agreement with the saying of the scholars, it would not be ambiguous, but rather it would be clear and decisive.
