Understanding General Texts in Light of the Practice of the Righteous Predecessors.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Ibn Abi Shaybah (may Allah have mercy on him) stated this meaning in his Musannaf in this situation. We see that the reports of the Salaf must be given precedence over general texts, and that it is not permissible to argue with the generality of general texts in specific details where the practice of the Righteous Predecessors has been contrary to them. Therefore, when Ibn Hazm and those who follow his path hold that the obligation of the Muslim on Friday is two rak'ahs, this aligns with his apparentist methodology. However, when referring to the reports of the Salaf and some marfu' hadiths with the same meaning as the report of Ibn Mas'ud mentioned above, he has no choice but to reject the opinion held by Ibn Hazm (may Allah have mercy on him). And peace be upon you, and Allah's mercy and blessings. In my knowledge, we do not find anything that obligates a Muslim to pray two rak'ahs alone if he does not pray Jumu'ah with the congregation of Muslims. If you remember anything that means this, it would be good to mention it so that we may benefit, if Allah wills. Do you recall anything? Shaykh 'Umar.
