The Meaning of the Saying of Allah the Exalted: "No, you will surely know. Then no, you will surely know."

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :
(3) No! You are going to know. (4) Then no! You are going to know.
[At-Takathur 102:3-4]
This phrase conveys a warning and a threat. That is, "No," O you who are preoccupied with amassing wealth and children, who have been distracted by this amassing, you will surely know. You will surely know what the result of your amassing of wealth and children and your turning away from the religion of Allah (Mighty and Majestic) was. When will this knowledge occur? It will occur at death, in the grave, and on the Day
of Resurrection.

Until when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send me back, that I may do good in that which I left behind." No! It is a word he is going to utter, and behind them is a barrier until the day they are resurrected. The student: Until when death comes to one of them, he says, "My Lord, send us back, that I may do good in that which I left behind." No! It is a word he is going to utter, and behind them is a barrier until the day they are resurrected. The Shaykh: You have done well, may Allah reward you. When his appointed time comes, he says, "My Lord, send me back." To where? To this world? But will he say, "Send me back to this world so I can build palaces, marry women, ride in luxurious cars, and have slaves serve me," or what? "That I may do good in that which I left behind," meaning in the wealth he left behind, that he may do good in it. So Allah, Mighty and Majestic, says: "No! It is a word he is going to utter." "No" means you will not return. When their appointed time comes, they do not delay for an hour, nor do they advance. "No," then He affirmed that this is not a word that must be spoken, so He said: "It is a word he is going to utter, and behind them is a barrier until the day they are resurrected." What is this barrier? It is not what is between the two lives, the life of this world and the life of the Hereafter. It may be the grave, or a person may die in a desolate place on earth with no one around him, and the birds and beasts eat him, or he may be in the sea, or something else. The important thing is that the barzakh is the barrier between the life of this world and the life of the Hereafter, until the day they are resurrected. So this man did not wish to return to this world to complete his competition in accumulation; rather, he wished to return to this world to exhaust his accumulation in obedience to Allah, "that I may do good in that which I left behind." Allah the Exalted said: "No! It is a word he is going to utter, and behind them is a barrier until the day they are resurrected." "No," you will know, then "No," you will know. He repeated that, why? For emphasis, my brothers. We will answer the mu'adhdhin, if Allah wills. Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar. - Discontinuity in the sound - Praise be to Allah. May Allah make you happy, yes. "You will know, then No, you will know." Emphasis, emphasis on the threat.
