The innovation of designating the visit to the city of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his grave specifically in Rajab

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : He says that people should visit the city in Rajab and call it what? The Rajabiyah, meaning named after what?
The student: Rajab

The Shaykh : Named after Rajab, it is said: Visiting the Prophet’s Mosque is undoubtedly one of the righteous deeds, due to the saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him and his family):
One should not undertake journeys except to three mosques: al-Masque al-Haram (in Makkah ), the Aqsa mosque, or this mosque (in Madinah). لا تشد الرحال إلا إلى ثلاثة مساجد المسجد الحرام ومسجدي هذا والمسجد الأقصى
Bulugh al-Maram 5:58
I ask Allah to purify it from the usurping Jews and to curse them with a following curse until the Day of Resurrection. The story of Al-Aqsa Mosque is long, too long for this place to mention, but I ask Allah the Exalted on this night to save it from the hands of the stubborn, aggressive, oppressive, and overbearing Jews. Good.
