A warning from the Shaykh regarding those who write this verse: "And say: Work, and Allah will see your work, and His Messenger..." in shops and businesses.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : Until the Day of Judgment.
As for what follows: We listened to the recitation of our Imam this night, the night of the tenth of Ramadan in the year 1418, to noble verses, and we will speak about some of them as Allah Mighty and Majestic facilitates. Among them is the saying of Allah Blessed and Exalted is He
They will make excuses to you when you have returned to them. Say, "Make no excuse - never will we believe you. Allah has already informed us of your news. And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger; then you will be taken back to the Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, and He will inform you of what you used to do."
[At-Tawbah 9:94]
In the second verse, its counterpart is the saying:
And say, "Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger وقل اعملوا فسيرى الله عملكم ورسوله
[At-Tawbah 9:105]
.
These two verses, or one of them, are written on some establishments or shops or the like, and the verse is placed in a place other than its proper context. These two verses are in the chapter of the hypocrites, and they are a threat, not praise or a promise, but rather a warning. How can we write them on shops and establishments as a form of praise? This is the opposite of what Allah intended with this verse.
Second: In the verse, or rather in the two verses,
And Allah will observe your deeds, and [so will] His Messenger وسيرى الله عملكم ورسوله
[At-Tawbah 9:94]
Is it possible for the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) to see our work now? It is not possible. If so, this is another point of concern. Therefore, we ask our brothers who have written on their shops or on their establishments
And say, "Do [as you will], for Allah will see your deeds, and [so, will] His Messenger وقل اعملوا فسيرى الله علمكم ورسوله
[At-Tawbah 9:105]
to erase it from these shops and establishments. This is considered an interjected phrase and is not the specific purpose of our session today.
