When is acting upon causes prescribed, and when is it major or minor shirk?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : May Allah the Exalted reward you, O honorable Shaykh. When is acting upon causes prescribed, and when is it minor or major shirk?

The Shaykh : What?

The questioner : When is acting upon causes prescribed, and when is it minor or major shirk?

The Shaykh : Acting upon causes is prescribed if it is established that this cause is a real, Shari'ah-based, or qadar-based cause. A Shari'ah-based cause is like reciting over a sick person, and a qadar-based cause is like things known through experience. It is not permissible if this cause is not indicated by evidence, neither by Shari'ah evidence nor by empirical evidence.
In that case, it becomes shirk, either minor or major. If a person believes that the cause is the agent in itself, without Allah, it is major shirk. If he believes that it is a cause and that the agent is Allah, it is minor shirk, provided there is no Shari'ah or empirical evidence that it is a cause. Yes.
