Is it permissible for an employee whose salary is insufficient to give his money to another person to trade with it, sharing in the profit?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
A man is an employee of the government, but his salary is not sufficient for him.

The Shaykh : No, what?

The questioner : His salary is not sufficient, and he works with two or three people as a partner, meaning he gives them money he has and works with them under the name of one of them. Is there anything wrong with that?

The Shaykh : What we see is that the employee may give his money to a person in a profit-sharing partnership, meaning he says: Take this money and trade with it; half the profit is for me and half the profit is for you.
Because the employee is not currently directly engaged in the work. However, if he partners with them and directly engages in the work with them, that is not permissible. And with this, this blessed session ends. We ask Allah for success for us and for you, and that He return us all in goodness and safety. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
