The reciter: Amr ibn Khalid al-Harani narrated to us, saying: Al-Layth narrated to us from Yahya ibn Sa'id from Sa'd ibn Ibrahim from Nafi' ibn Jubayr from Urwah ibn al-Mughirah from his father al-Mughirah ibn Shu'bah from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him): Sahih Muslim 274a.
The Shaykh : This is from the hadith of al-Mughirah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wiped over his leather socks.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) went out for relieving himself. Mughira went with him carrying a jug full of water. When he (the Holy Prophet) came back after relieving himself, he poured water over him and he performed ablution and wiped over his socks
