The reciter: In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. And may prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and all his Companions.
Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said in the Book of the Full Ritual Bath:
Chapter on separating the full ritual bath and the ablution
It is reported from Ibn Umar that he washed his feet after his ablution had dried. ويذكر عن ابن عمر أنه غسل قدميه بعد ما جف وضوؤه
.

The Shaykh : "Wudu" with a fathah. You read "wudu" with a dammah on the waw, which is not correct. The correct reading is "wudu" with a fathah. Then you opened the waw and also opened the hamzah.
The reader: What is the reading now?

The Shaykh : "Wudu" is how it is with you.
The reader: "Wudu"
It is reported from Ibn Umar that he washed his feet after his ablution had dried. ويذكر عن ابن عمر أنه غسل قدميه بعدما جف وضوؤه

Muhammad ibn Mahbub narrated to us, saying: Abd al-Wahhab narrated to us, saying: Al-A'mash narrated to us from Salim ibn Abi al-Ja'd from Kuraib, the freed slave of Ibn Abbas, from Ibn Abbas, who said: Maymunah said:
I prepared water for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) to perform the full ritual bath with. He poured it over his hands and washed them twice or three times. Then he poured with his right hand over his left and washed his private parts. Then he rubbed his hand on the ground, then he rinsed his mouth and inhaled water into his nose, then he washed his face and his hands, and washed his head three times. Then he poured water over his body. Then he moved from his standing place and washed his feet.

Chapter on pouring with the right hand over the left in the full ritual bath.

The Shaykh : This chapter is important: separating the full ritual bath and the ablution. Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) is referring to the continuity between the limbs of the ablution and the parts of the body in the full ritual bath. We have mentioned this before and explained that the scholars (may Allah have mercy on them) differed on this. Some said that continuity is not a condition, neither in the ablution nor in the full ritual bath. Some said it is a condition in the ablution but not in the full ritual bath. And some said it is a condition in both, the ablution and the full ritual bath, and this is the closest view. However, if there is an obstacle, we have previously divided obstacles into two categories: one related to the essence of the purity, and one related to an external matter. There is scholarly disagreement on this issue, and it is likely that you will read about it in the commentary.
