Washing the hands three times during ablution
Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The first question of Fatwa No. ( 18762 )
Q1: If a person intends to perform ablution and washes his hands before finishing the removal of what invalidates the ablution , is it sufficient to wash his hands first and then perform ablution, or is it necessary to wash his hands after he has finished removing what invalidates the ablution and then perform ablution?
A1: The Sunnah is to wash the palms three times before beginning to wash the face, after finishing cleaning oneself from the traces of urine or feces. If his ablution is after rising from sleep at night, he must wash his palms three times before putting them into the vessel and before beginning to wash the face. And success is from Allah, and may Allah send prayers and blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad, his family, and his Companions.
