Explanation of the Book of Prayer and Its Times-01b

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Abu al-Yaman narrated to us, saying: Shu'ayb informed us from al-Zuhri, saying: 'Urwah informed me that 'A'ishah said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray the Fajr prayer, and believing women would attend it with him, wrapped in their cloaks, and then they would return to their homes, and no one would recognize them. لقد كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصلي الفجر فيشهد معه نساء من المؤمنات متلفعات في مروطهن ثم يرجعن إلى بيوتهن ما يعرفهن أحد
.

The Shaykh : The point of interest is the phrase
Wrapped in their cloaks. متلفعات في مروطهن
. "Mutallif'at" is like "mutalhafat" (wrapped up). "No one would recognize them" means because of the darkness of the night, the day had not yet become clear, and this is because in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), there were no lights in the mosques.
