Ibn 'Umar was approached and it was said to him, "The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) has entered the Ka'bah." Ibn 'Umar said: So I went toward it, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had already gone out, and I found Bilal standing between the two doors. So I asked Bilal and said: Did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pray in the Ka'bah? He said: Yes, two rak'ahs between the two pillars on his left when he entered. Then he went out and prayed two rak'ahs facing the Ka'bah.

أتي ابن عمر فقيل له هذا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل الكعبة فقال ابن عمر: فأقبلت والنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قد خرج وأجد بلالا قائمًا بين البابين فسألت بلالا فقلت: أصلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في الكعبة؟ قال: نعم ركعتين بين الساريتين اللتين على يساره إذا دخلت. ثم خرج فصلى في وجه الكعبة ركعتين
