Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: Yahya ibn Bukayr narrated to us, saying: Al-Layth narrated to us from 'Aqil from Ibn Shihab from Humayd ibn 'Abd al-Rahman that Abu Hurayrah and Abu Sa'id informed him:
That the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a sparrow on the wall of the mosque, so the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took a pebble and wiped it away, then he said: "When one of you spits, let him not spit in front of his face or to his right, but let him spit to his left or under his left foot."
