The reciter: Abu al-Yaman al-Hakam ibn Nafi' narrated to us, saying: Shu'ayb informed us from al-Zuhri, saying: Abu Salama ibn 'Abd al-Rahman ibn 'Awf
that he heard Hassan ibn Thabit al-Ansari asking Abu Hurayrah to bear witness, saying: "I ask you by Allah, did you hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'O Hassan, defend the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! May Allah support you with the Spirit of Holiness?' Abu Hurayrah said: Yes."
