Continuation of the Response to Those Who Deny the Exaltation of Allah

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh : The general [category] does not exist, so the obligation is to negate the general. And he used to say, "Sight does not perceive Him," because we know that if sight does not perceive Him, it will not grasp Him. So in the verse is evidence against them, not evidence for them. And the Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned in his book *Al-Aql wa al-Naql* (Reason and Revelation), about which Ibn al-Qayyim said:
" *** There is nothing in existence that has a second like it "
He said, "I commit myself to every innovator or one who denies the attributes who brings a proof from the Book and the Sunnah that I will make his proof a proof against him. Glory be to Allah, I make his proof a proof against him. And this is correct and clear, because this falsifier will not cite this text as evidence unless he finds in it the scent of what he wants. But it is not the scent with which he perfumes himself; rather, it is the scent that stinks in his nose and refutes them. Clear, yes. So
you will not see Me لن تراني
there is no evidence in it, what? Why? Because it is in this world, and we agree with this.
Vision perceives Him not لا تدركه الأبصار
[Al-An'am 6:103]
There is no evidence in it, but rather it is evidence against them.
