(Explanation of the first category of people, namely the divine scholars who have concern for the texts in their understanding, intent, and purpose) So the first ones, due to their familiarity with that

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"So the first ones" means he clarified this reason: why this single piece of evidence is a text (nass) for some people, apparent (zahir) for others, and general (mujmal) for still others. He said:
"So the first ones" it became a text (nass) with them "due to their familiarity with that address*** and their familiarity with its meaning for a long time"
O Allah, make us among these people. These people became familiar with the address of Allah and His Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and they became familiar with its meaning, so that the apparent meaning for others became a text (nass) for them. Some of them can distinguish the authenticity of a hadith from its weakness merely by hearing it, even if they have not seen its chain of narration. Why? Because they became familiar with the speech of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and it mixed with their blood, so that they know this is the speech of the Messenger as opposed to the speech of others. Just as we now, if we read the books of a scholar and an expression from his expressions passes by us, even if it is not attributed to him, we know it is from his speech. Often something from the speech of the Shaykh al-Islam passes by us and we know it is his speech, even if it is not attributed to him, because we have read his speech a lot and become familiar with it. And so with Ibn al-Qayyim and others. The result is that these people who became familiar with the speech of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and understood it, the meaning becomes a text (nass) for them. He says:
"The correspondence with its meaning was prolonged for them, just as their concern for that matter intensified***
And their knowledge of the one being addressed, for they are*** more entitled to it than the rest of humanity
And they have the most complete concern for his speech*** and his intentions, along with the correctness of recognition
So his address is a decisive text with them*** regarding what is intended by it in terms of clarification"

He (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned multiple matters:
First: That they became familiar with the address, the address of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him), and they became familiar with its meaning due to their frequent practice of it. This is one point.
Second: That they have complete concern in knowing the speech of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and reflecting on its meaning, so that it becomes a decisive text (nass) for them.
Third: That they know the state of the Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) and his intent and purpose, because they know the noble objectives of the Islamic Shari'ah. You will find that they know the intent of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his address as a decisive text (nass), because they know the objectives of the Shari'ah. For the sake of these three or four matters, they knew the intent of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) in his speech with decisive, textual knowledge. For this reason, he said:
"So his address is a decisive text with them*** regarding what is intended by it in terms of clarification".
