If we deal in a currency other than his *** our allowances from the treasury will be cut off (Definition of Jawamik)

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The Shaykh :"If we deal in a currency other than his *** our jawamik from the treasury will be cut off"
This means that if we deal in a currency other than the one minted by the Sultan, the jawamik will be cut off. Jawamik is a term for what we call here "awaid" (allowances), which the Sultan gives to people. Some call them "awaid" and others call them "sharakh"; the names differ, but the meaning is the same. It refers to what is allocated from the public treasury for people, whether annually, monthly, every six months, or something similar. So, jawamik refers to what a person takes from the public treasury. They say, "If we accept this sound, valid currency and leave the Sultan's currency, what will happen? The jawamik will be cut off, and we will not receive any sustenance from the Sultan." Yes.
