Allah is Greater than the One whose majesty is feared *** His angels are above them, with clear evidence. And Allah is Greater than the One who went to His bed *** It creaked beneath Him like a saddle for the riders (The meaning of "bed" and "creaking")

The Shaykh : He said, (may Allah have mercy on him): "Allah is Greater than the One whose majesty is feared *** His angels are above them, with clear evidence"
As He is Exalted
They fear their Lord above them يخافون ربهم من فوقهم
[An-Nahl 16:50]
This affirms His rising above.
"And Allah is Greater than the One who went to His bed *** It creaked beneath Him like a saddle for the riders"
"His bed" means His Throne, for it has come in the hadith that it has a creaking like the creaking of a saddle. The creaking is the sound heard from the creaking of a saddle when it is carrying a load; when a camel is carrying a heavy load, you find that its saddle makes a creaking and grinding sound.
