What is the ruling on listening to what is called Islamic songs for the young Muslim?

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The questioner : I am asking about the ruling on listening to what is called Islamic songs for the young Muslim?

The Shaykh : Praise be to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and I send prayers and peace upon our Prophet Muhammad, and upon his family and his Companions, and upon those who follow them with excellence until the Day of Judgment. I am answering this question with a general answer. The songs that are free from instruments of amusement, meaning from music, flutes, and the like, if their subject matter is beneficial and they are recited in the manner known among the Arabs, and if they do not contain enchanting voices that arouse desire, there is nothing wrong with them. Hassan ibn Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) used to recite poetry in the mosque of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). 'Umar ibn al-Khattab passed by him one day while he was reciting poetry, and he looked at him as if he was surprised by what he was doing. So Hassan said to him: "I used to recite this while one who is better than you was present", meaning the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).
As for if the songs are accompanied by instruments of amusement, such as flutes, music, and drums, or if their subject matter is one of love and temptation, or if the voices in them are enticing and arousing temptation or enjoyment of the voice, or if they are recited to the tune of obscene songs, then they are not permissible. Yes.

The questioner : May Allah reward you and bless you. The questioner says.
