Reading from the words of the poet: A chapter on the rivers of Paradise... to the end.

Machine translationRead the Arabic original
The reciter: "A chapter on the rivers of Paradise
Its rivers flow in no channel *** Glory to the One who holds them back from overflowing"

The Shaykh : Who holds them back.
The reciter: Who holds them back?

The Shaykh : With a kasrah, who holds them back.
The reciter: "Its rivers flow in no channel *** Glory to the One who holds them back from overflowing
They flow beneath them as they wish, gushing forth *** And the river suffers no diminution
Filtered honey, then water, then wine *** Then rivers of milk
And by Allah, those substances are not like these *** But they are united in wording
There is a slight resemblance between them *** Which is a shared concept in the minds"
